I adjusted the Y Insight Support Calibration back -0.8 to 1.2 and ran another set of parts. The model was pretty well centered on the support:
I resliced the STL having the three parts in Quickslice, and sent to the FDM. The models came out centered on the support, but Quickslice did add some support scaffolding as Quickslice had twisted the part in the middle to create overhangs. Pretty wierd:

Hey John,
Hope you are well,
I am using Insight Version 3.5. I was curious what version you are using and wondering if it impacts the quality of the print. Your prints always look cleaner than mine on my 8000.. Any suggestions?
Hi Trevor,
I haven’t noticed an improvement in *print quality* from the Insight Versions — just less bugs.
The print quality seems to depend on (in no particular order)
I’m still having trouble keeping my material dry…
Hope that helps

Thanks for the Info.
I have had a terrible time keeping my support material dry too. I have sent it back twice.
It looks like I have another Thermostat going out again. A lot of Upkeep on these old beast.
I couldn’t agree more — just when you think it’s going good, something else goes wrong.
